Vegas Vacation

Two nights ago I was asking the bartender at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas for his autograph . It's something I've done in the past. When I went to Europe the first time, more specifically Spain, I had to get something from the Hard Rock Cafe in Madrid. I got a hat. The next time, before I went, I was told that a person could get a hat like I did from the internet. I haven't taken the time to prove that person wrong, but to take precaution, I decided that it would be authentic if I had the bartender sign the hat, even if it was unreadable. And chances are, in a few years, that bartender will not still be working there, but it's still cool. This time we went to London, Paris, and Rome, among a few other places in Italy. I managed to get the rest of the group to stop in at the Hard Rock Cafe in each city. I got a signature from each place. I found that it is fun to ask them because they are always surprised that someone would want their signature. This last time, in Las Vegas, I realized that while I was asking the bartender for a signature he could be serving drinks, earning his wages, and most importantly getting tips, so I felt it necessary that he receive a tip. I only gave him dollar. But, I also gave him a story to tell to his friends or family when he got home. He'll be like "guess what? Some guy wanted my signature today, can you believe that?" Anyway, I thought it was kind of strange to think about the fact that it was only two days ago that I was half way across the country.
